1. Prepare your application: Sanford Finance will help you prepare your application and make sure you have all proof and documentation.

2. Pre-approval: Based on your application and financial information, you will receive pre-approval for a specific loan amount. This means you can start looking for houses within your price range with the confidence of pre-approval from your lender.

3. Start looking: This is the fun part! Start looking for your first home. Get an idea of what the market is doing and start going to open inspections with the confidence that you can make an offer if you find the right property.
4
4. Make an offer: Once you find a property, and is within your price range, make an offer on it.
5
5. Loan settlement: Once you have made an offer and that offer has been accepted, there will be a time frame set for settlement which is normally 60 days. Your Sanford Finance advisor will work with you and your lender to ensure settlement takes place.

6. Move in: Once settlement has occurred, you can collect your keys and move in to your first home. Congratulations!
